I was born in Hallock, MN.   I graduated high school from Climax, Minn. I received my bachelor of science from Mayville State, my master's degree from Northern State University, and my doctorate from the University of North Dakota.  I have been employed in public education for 44 years as a science teacher, coach, high school principal and superintendent.   I am starting my seventh year as the part-time superintendent in Larimore.  I am married to my wife Susan who is a retired middle school English teacher.   We have two sons, Frank who is married to Lisa, they have one son, Everett.  Frank works as a digital innovation officer at UND and Lisa is a RN with Sanford.   Our second son, Connor is a mechanical engineer in Sioux Falls.  

It has been a great privilege serving the students, parents and staff of the Larimore School District.
